To set up your account on the mobile app, you need to be registered for Online Wealth and Mobile App Services, please click here for an application form. If you are already registered, you can install and activate the mobile app by following the simple steps below:
The mobile app is available on Google Play and the App Store for iPhone®. Go to the relevant app store on your mobile, select the search option, type in Nedbank Private Wealth, go to the correct listing and install.
When installing the mobile app, you will be asked to give your authority for the mobile app to use various features on your phone - for example, access to your camera, contacts and so on. Due to differences between Google Play and the App Store for iPhone ®, in the early release version it will be necessary to grant all these permissions if you have an Android ™ device. This does not apply if you have an iPhone. Nedbank Private Wealth will never use the access you grant us to any of the features on your phone for any reason other than the purpose we will communicate to you, and your right to privacy and all your personal information will also be maintained in accordance with our usual standards of client confidentiality.
You will be asked to confirm acceptance of the Nedbank Private Wealth Online Wealth and Mobile App Terms and Conditions, which can be found here. It is not possible to use the mobile app unless you do so.
Region Selection - Click on the mobile app icon on your home screen and the above screen will appear. Select the “International” option.
Activation - Select “Activate” and the login page will appear.
Login Details - Input your online banking username and password in the boxes provided and select “Log In”.
Memorable information - Input the requested characters from your memorable information and select “Confirm”.
If you have forgotten your Online Banking login details or your memorable information, please contact our client services centre on +44 (0) 1624 645000 between 8am and 8pm (UK time), from Monday to Friday. Create your PIN - Create a five digit PIN code and input it once more to confirm. Next, you will be given the option to enable Touch ID login in for the app. For more information on biometrics see our security guide.
Activation Confirmation - The message shown above will be displayed. Select “Continue to Dashboard”.
Next time you login - select the Nedbank app icon to open the mobile app and select “Log in”.
Input your pin - Input the five digit PIN code that you previously created.
Announcements – Here we display our latest news and updates about the mobile app.
Your dashboard - You will then be presented with the dashboard, showing your total wealth with Nedbank Private Wealth International, as well as a summary of your cash balances and investments.
If you’ve already enrolled to the mobile app and would like to enable biometric recognition, go to the “Touch ID” settings and turn this on with the “enable” button.
You can then log in securely using your unique fingerprint or facial recognition in future.
If you no longer wish to use the mobile app, simply delete it from your device. You will still be able to use our Online Banking Service. If you also wish to stop using our Online Banking Service, please contact us.
From Android™ devices: Hold down the mobile app icon until the message shown below appears, and select “App info”. Next, select “uninstall”.
From an iPhone: Hold down the mobile app icon until it begins to shake and displays an X in the top left and corner. Then tap the X and confirm to delete the mobile app.
